Upgrade to Version 4.4.0

Dear Valued Customer,

Service Software would like to announce the release of Punchlist Manager.NET™ and Restoration Manager.NET  Version 4.4.0. This release contains several changes and improvements to our award-winning web-based application.

    New Features and Enhancements:
  • Modify and Change the costs/charges screen for a grid format and more detailed information, develop a summary and detail cost report.  Move costs to roll to the job level.
  • Add a contacts browser that will allow you to search all contacts in the system, similar to the Job Browser.
  • Add Hygrometer Readings to the Item detail screen.  Restoration Contractors
  • Vendor and Project Detail, can we make sure that as you navigate from tab to tab on the vendor or project that the name, and address, stays on the top so you know what you are looking at.
  • Add Custom Fields (6) to the primary and secondary contacts on Projects.
  • Please add to the Utilities menu - Move Items - from one vendor to another Vendor.
  • Please add to the Utilities menu - Move Items - from one vendor to another Vendor.
  • We need to add a navigation ICON and Functionality to the system called Quick Add Job
  • Add action taken (drop down) to the List management screen, item detail screen.
  • Add contact directory and to the contacts browser (see details).
  • Reports - Add to preliminary Report - the equipment summary report for the job. Add report - Preliminary Report to Report Profiler.
  • Change tasks to display, Overdue, Due Today, and Future (spruce up the task display section).
    Bug Fixes:
  • Add to Mail Merge on Correspondence the ability to choose the available contacts.
  • Active employees with no logon ID and Password or access to PLM.NET do not show in report drop downs.
  • On the print daily report - Schedule – Example:  the dates for 10/11 and 10/10 show before 10/07 and 10/08
  • On the vendor portal - when a company has multiple sites it should pick the default reports logo

PLEASE NOTE: There were bugs reported that can be fixed by clearing your temporary internet files folder, and making sure that the client side changes have been applied to each workstation that will be using Punchlist Manager.NET™ and Restoration Manager.NET.

You will also want to add your Punchlist Manager.NET™ and Restoration Manager.NET site to the "Trusted Sites" Zone in internet explorer to keep some features from being blocked by a Microsoft update.

The upgrades will be completed the night of October 30, 2008.

These are only the beginning of the enhancements and changes that will be coming in the months ahead. We use your feedback to improve upon the application you have come to know and trust for your warranty needs.
