Service Software would like to announce the release of Punchlist Manager.NET™ and Inspection Manager.NET Version 4.9.1.0. This release contains several changes and improvements to our award-winning applications.

New features and Improvements:

Added Features:
• Added Word document mail merge capabilities. This allows you to create Word documents from merge templates. The documents will merge with relevant job related information, without having Word available on the web based system. The merge will create a Word document format or PDF document format. Instructions are available by logging into our Support Site.
• Job Cost report by cost code vs. cost type, added to the job detail, costs screen.

Improved Features:
• Production Schedule - Allow the grid to display either, address, job ID or Last name/First name.
• Added to system setup – Settings, the ability to set up the site as a prefix and use the current year as part of the prefix, use shared numbering or site based numbering and renumber both the year in the prefix and restart the numbering for all new jobs.

Bug Fixes:
• Work order Report not including pictures.
• Saving item images does not work when you modify or change an image.
• Company Detail - Search for Contacts Paging not showing page 1, 2, 3, etc.

PLEASE NOTE: There were bugs reported that can be fixed by clearing your temporary internet files folder, and by applying the suggested client side changes to each workstation that will be using our .NET™ application.

You will also want to add your .NET™ site to the "Trusted Sites" Zone in internet explorer to keep some features from being blocked by a Microsoft update.

The upgrades will be completed the night of December 30, 2009 for those customers hosted at Service Software, LLC.

These are only the beginning of the enhancements and changes that will be coming in the months ahead. We use your feedback to improve upon the application you have come to know and trust for your warranty needs.
